Anand Panwalker was born in Kenya to Indian immigrant parents, got his medical degree in India and came to the United States in 1971. He is currently a clinical professor of Medicine at the Sidney Kimmel School of Medicine and the Associate Vice President for Medical Affairs at Christiana Care, one of the largest health care systems in the nation. A Fellow of the American College of Physicians, and the Infectious Diseases Society of America, he has published several scientific papers and won numerous awards for teaching and leadership. He has a passion for Indian music both light and classical. He lives with his wife Asha in Newark, Delaware.

Kim Burdick, MA, MPA is the Executive Director of People to People Delaware. She has a Masters in Public Administration from the College of Urban Affairs, University of Delaware, and also a Masters in Museum Studies and American Folk Culture from the Cooperstown Graduate Program. In 2017, she was named Communicator of Achievement by the Delaware Press Association. In 2009, she was awarded les Palmes Academiques by the French Government for her work on the Washington-Rochambeau Revolutionary Route (NPS-WARO),
